Location: not yet determined.
Size: 2,600 square feet
Concept: Take the flow patterns and general
layout of a house plan found after viewing hundreds for flow that
fit their family. Then, marry the general layout to the
exterior of an $800,000 house where great care has obviously been
taken to craft a beautiful exterior with great impact.

Here is a picture of the $800,000 house:
So, the impact seems to be created by a
combination of a number of things (not including the Christmas
decorations!):
- round
river rock creating a rounded shape in the yard and then along the
base of the house.
- then two
courses of dark red brick.
- then a
soldier course of the dark red brick...every 3rd brick is angled
out at the top.
- then the
a poured, grey, concrete slab.
- then
cedar deck railing.
- black
metal posts as part of the railing system.
- round,
white columns by white front door.
- dark
brick face on 1st floor & garage gables...more interesting
patterns.
-
brown(ish) garage doors (white trim).
- concrete
keystone element above garage doors + concrete address
element.
- white
light fixtures on garage (not sure I like the style).
- then a
white gutter system & white trim (a second trim board?).
- then
cedar shingles...greyed (valleys match the color of the
shingles).
- then a
cultured stone face on second floor.
- half
round windows above double hungs + one round window aligned with
door below.
